Why pet sitting is better than Boarding?
Client Referral Program
Once you use Feathers and Tails service you belong to the client referral program and anytime a new person mentions your name you and them each receive $15 off your next service.
Live-In - (approx. 15hrs/day)
Sitter arrives between 6pm-8pm in the evening and stays overnight 12 hours and returns midday for 3 hours.
Plush Overnights Visits- (approx. 10-12 hrs. and then 30 min. midday)
“Most popular choice” sitter arrives between 6pm-8pm on the night of the scheduled visit. The sitter stays throughout the night until the next morning and then leaves between 6am-8am. Sitter comes back mid-day for a lunch visit and this is usually a 30 min visit. If owner wants a longer visit then an additional charge.
$5/15min extra minutes.
Essential Overnight Visits - (approx. 10-12 hours)
Sitter arrives between 6pm-8pm the night of the scheduled visit. The sitter stays throughout the night until the next morning and then leaves between 6am-8am. There is NO lunch visit mid-day.
Staying at the sitter's home (approx. 24 hour care)
This type of stay is 24 hour stay at the sitter’s home. Owner must drop-off and pick-up pet and there must be visit prior to make sure the pet is comfortable with the environment. (There may be other dogs at the house so all vaccinations must be current)
Custom Overnight Visits (approx. 13-14 hours)
This type of visit is customized to meet your pets needs when they are use to you being home all the time but you don’t want to pay the price for live-in sitter. The sitter arrives between 4pm-6pm in the evening and stays throughout the night. A 30min. midday lunch is included.
Cat only visits
Sitter comes 1 time and stays 15 minutes. This is for household with up to 3 cats in a household. Additional cats will be a $5 charge for each cat. The choice of how many in a day are up to the owner.
$5/each additional cat
Sitter comes 1 time and stays approximately 15 minutes. This is during the lunch hour. Consists only of letting out pets quickly to use the bathroom. Or any quick feeding of caged animals are included in this type of visit.
Sitter comes 1 time and stays 30 minutes. The choice of how many in a day are up to the owner.
Sitter comes 1 time and stays 60 minutes. The choice of how many in a day are up to the owner.
Sitter comes 1 time and stays 90 minutes. The choice of how many in a day are up to the owner.
Waste removal service
This only pertains to dog waste in the backyard For long stays (more than 7 days will be an automatic charge)(More than 2 weeks charge will be included)
Homemade cooking for pets
This includes the entire length of time scheduled.
This charge is for supplies needed to finish the job. example: litter, food, medication or cleaning materials.
$15 + total amount on receipt
This type of visit is a day spent at the sitter’s home. The owner drops off and picks up the pet. (These hours are during the daytime only)
$35 /12 hours
This is taking your pet for a drive to the park, groomer, vet office, training, daycare, or shopping.
$15/ 7 mile radius
This is offered for the pets as well as people to the airport. Note: airport runs are 2-way tickets that include picking you up at home and driving you to the airport. When you return from your trip you can purchase another 2-way ticket.
Delivery of pet products, supplies, medications or food.
Arthritic massage session
Senior dogs or dogs with joint issues, arthritis, and post-surgery therapy.
Medical care assistant visit
This is a medically trained sitter that comes and provides nursing for seniors and sick animals while owner is home. This service is to help assist the owners in Fluid therapy, injections, and medications.

For non-aggressive pets only.
Baths depends on breed, size, and behavior.
Essential Exercise Walks
The sitter will walk, bike, hike, or run with your dog for 15-30 minutes.
Intermediate Exercise Walk
The sitter will walk, bike, hike, or run with your dog for an 60 minutes. This exercise is not offered in 95 degree weather or higher for the safety of everyone.
$20/hour. This includes basic training: walking on a leash, sit, stay, riding in a car, potty-training.
KEY PICK-UP OR DROP-OFF – $10 If an owner decides not to sign the key release form.
*then their will be additional charges each time key is exchanged.
HOLIDAY FEE – $5 for each visit that falls on a holiday. $15 for each overnight that falls on a holiday.
ADDITIONAL MILEAGE– $5 for every 5 miles passed the zip codes listed.
ADDITIONAL PET CHARGE– $5 for every PET after 3 per day.
